About This Project
The Jogging Track is part Jumeirah Corniche Development Project that spans over 14 kilometers extending from the Dubai Marina Beach Resort and Spa up to Burj Al Arab Hotel. It runs next to six residential communities, and has a five metre-wide walkway, a four metre-wide jogging track, shaded benches and retail kiosks. BMTC have implemented sustainable lighting solutions that integrated smart pole technology with multiple functions. Smart poles’ aesthetic design perfectly complements the landscape, enhancing the distinctive identity of Dubai. It provides a bright white light for better colour rendering and a dynamic ambiance, perfectly suited to this vibrant city.
Highlights
The Urban Solutions unit within BMTC supplied Schreder branded ModulLum LED smart poles with multiple functions that enhancing the identity and aesthetic character of Dubai. The solution helped to cut energy costs by 33% compared to a traditional lighting fixture with a discharge lamp.
