About This Project
The project is stretched over 22km of dual carriage way roads, managed and supervised by Al Ain Municipality. The Urban Solutions division provided a solution that included lighting concept, supply, testing and commissioning of LED Street Lights with Solar. Solar solution was designed aesthetically keeping in mind international lighting standards and aim to conserve energy. The project helped client to reduce its cost by cutting down the entire low voltage network, cables and trenches to bring power to the project site.
Highlights
- BMTC supplied LED Lights, Batteries, Control Electronics, Solar Photo Voltaic Module, Mounting Structure and associated hardware to the project. - BMTC have delivered and installed 537 nos. Solar LED Street Light Poles. - The project resulted in 89,378 kWh of energy saving that is equivalent to 53.43 ton of Co2 per year.
