About This Project
Dubai Sports City is a unique master development spread over 50 million sq ft offering world class facilities in sports, commercial and residential real estate. Conceptualized as the world’s first fully-dedicated sports-themed community, Dubai Sports City offers a multitude of choices for sports enthusiasts and professional athletes alike. These include everything from state-of-the-art sports venues and international sporting events to top of the line sports academies, providing a platform for youth development and recreational sporting facilities alongside residential projects like Victory Heights and Gallery villas, premium villa community developed around a championship golf course and commercial developments such as international schools, medical facilities, hotels, community centres and entertainment venues. BMTC have provided Solar Street Lighting solution, based on 100% powered clean, renewable energy that came with Smart Controls to perform remote monitoring and data analysis to drive greater operational efficiency.
Highlights
The project included replacement of existing lighting, designing of uniform lighting levels, adding new lighting poles, supplying, installing & commissioning of LED luminaires, solar panels, and controls as well as maintaining the complete system. Additionally, solar energy was supplied to the advertising panels on the street lighting poles. The ultimate goal of the project was to reduce dependence on energy-intensive traditional street lighting solutions and it was successfully achieved.
